PlayStation "Room" Announced

PlayStation "Room" Announced

Posted by greg on 09/24/2009

Sony has announced the new PlayStation Home for the PlayStation Portable; however, your home is only ~ 250 sqft. Alas, PlayStation Room. You'll be sucked into a virtual reality, sort of like Stay Tuned meets Lawnmower Man, only I'd assume not as cool... You launch Room from the XMB, just like Home, design your 3D avatar, invite peeps over to your room, party it up, share blogs, photo albums, participate in group chats, and really, that's all we know right now. PlayStation Room is scheduled for a winter release in a coming firmware update.

Is that cool? I don't know... Home is played out in my opinion... Every now and then I'll pop on to see what's new. My Batcave is pretty awesome though - come over and check it out sometime.

For all who don't know already Dark Alex Closed his forums due to the excessive cost. He isn't leaving the PSP scene and is actually working WITH the GEN team to develop new custom firmwares for us.

HOLYY SHIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTT ! YYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!

But wait, this is Playstation Room, which sounds sorta unappealing. Regardless, this might make me update from CFW to OFW the moment it is released .. i switch from 5.00 M33-6 to OFW 6.10 to see whats going on .. then i downgraded.

Still, if Playstation Room allows you actually exit the room and wander around, and have "Room Spaces" just like Home Spaces on PS3, ill update because Home if fuckinq awesome IMO. Room just sounds like a beat down version of home. Who cares, i wannaa see it
