Playstation Video Service Hits Europe Today
Well about time right people! As many of you may or may not have known, Sony actually has a movie distributing service available on the PSN. With this service, Europeans will now be able to download purchased or rented movies to play on their PS3's and PSP's. Lucky ducklings residing in the United States of America along with Japan have been laughing, LAUGHING at us due to our limited movie watching constraints. Well, that laugh just got a bit louder with the additions of France, Spain, Germany and the UK today receiving the service. I guess Canada's not good enough to pay for your movie rentals and purchases. Fine, well screw you too!
As an extra kick in the pants bonus, the PlayStation Store will be running a special promo. Anyone that purchases Angels and Demons will get a free copy of The Da Vinci Code. New registrants of the PlayStation Network will also be able to get a free download of Transformers if they create an account before November 30.
SCEE's Andrew House had this to say in a press release concerning the
"The launch of the PlayStation Network video delivery service extends our entertainment offering and provides consumers with another way to access their favorite movies, whether at home or on the go,"

Way to shaft us Canadians, eh Sony? :(
Super shaft.....nice guys always finish last :(
