PS3 Motion Controller Name Revealed?

Sony hasn't been all to happy about information being leaked before they're ready to pull back the curtain on their new projects. Take for example the PSP Go. They were so excited to announce this at E3 but the pesky media with their insider sources sparked up a rumour that rained down on their Go parade.

This time around, Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello accidentally let the cat out of the bag while speaking at the UBS 37th Annual Global Media Conference, according to IGN.

In the coming year, both Sony and Microsoft have announced new controllers. Motion sensor controls, Natal and Gem, these are likely to bring new consumers into the marketplace,

Sony has commented on this potential slip up by giving IGN the following statement

No official name for the PlayStation motion controller has been announced.

EA had even less to say stating that they were unable to confirm the accuracy of his remarks at this time.

What do you guys and gals think about the name Gem? Wanna go play with my Gem? Go buy a gem and wave it around? Gem Gem Gem? You know where to post em...

To be fair, I think the name definitely needs a change! Especially if it wants to stand a chance againt their competitors.
Natal.. Gem.. Hardcore Gamers.. or Family/Casual audience?

Gem is very likely only a project name, as is Natal. By the time of release, both controllers will have more consumer-friendly names, I'm sure, like "Microsoft HandsFree (for Xbox 360)", or "PlayStation Experience" or something along those lines.
