Sony May Look To Merge PSP With Cell Phone

Welcome to rumour ville and hothardware.com is the mayor. Sony has stated that they are "considering developing a cellphone-game gear hybrid" to be implemented with the Ericsson line of cell phones.
Reuters reported that the Nikkei business daily in Japan said Sony planned to start getting its team together on the project as soon as next month.
The intention is to have a hybrid type device that integrates the PSP with the Sony Ericsson creating A high powered portable gaming device with cellular capabilities. This is of course a plan to cut into the action that the iPhone has been receiving as of late.

That looks horrific. Looks like a cheap version of something you find at walmart for $9.98
I'm hoping that this is just a mock up of several concept designs they have in the works. Hopefully this doesn't turn out to be another Zune type disaster while attempting to lure iPhone (apposed to iPod) customers to their neck of the woods.
its looks crazy...how am i going to play on this thing that they call a video game device?
id rather throw up blood then get caught having sumthing like that, i hope to god its a concept base, then the full concideration.
isn't that the same pictures they have been showing us for nearly 2 years every time they are talking about psp phones?
looks terrible way too complex maybe they could just make a regular psp with a candybar phone on the back that would be better... with a touchscreen just because they can
